Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a UK-based Dance Theatre Academy that was planning a bold, stylistic performance. They reached out with a very specific request: they needed a new version of “Rhythm of Life” from Sweet Charity — but not in its original Broadway style. Instead, they wanted the song completely reimagined in the quirky, theatrical style of Beetlejuice the Musical.

Removing vocals from the original wasn’t enough for their vision. They needed something built from scratch — a full reorchestration that captured the personality of their choreography and matched the mood of their performance.
